Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Automotive Maintenance Technician to support specialist technicians in conducting Level 4 in-depth maintenance tasks on military vehicles. This role involves assisting with complex system repairs, preparing tools and equipment, and maintaining an organized work environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist specialist technicians during the disassembly and reassembly of complex vehicle systems.
- Prepare tools, equipment, and replacement parts to ensure efficient repair workflows.
- Conduct initial system checks on vehicles and report findings for further evaluation.
- Follow all safety and military protocols during maintenance activities.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and ensure an up-to-date inventory of parts and tools.
- Learn advanced maintenance techniques from specialist technicians and take on increasingly complex tasks under supervision.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical diploma or certification in mechanical, electrical, or automotive technology is preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a technician role, ideally working with military vehicles or heavy equipment.
- Familiarity with technical systems and experience using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in maintenance and repair tasks.
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments and follow strict safety guidelines.
