Job Summary:
The Accounts Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the organization, including managing accounting functions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The role involves supervising the accounting team, monitoring the organization’s financial health, and providing strategic financial insights to support decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Management: Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to senior management.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the budgeting process, monitor actual performance against the budget, and provide financial forecasts.
- Compliance: Ensure that all financial transactions comply with local laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
- Audit Coordination: Manage both internal and external audits, ensuring that all financial records are accurate and up to date.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance and fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and potential risks, providing recommendations for improvement.
- Cost Control: Identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure efficient financial management across departments.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and implement best practices.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with department heads and other stakeholders to provide financial support and guidance for their activities.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting is preferred.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in accounting or financial management, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
